■How to use the replacement nib
Draw on an old piece of cloth until the ink on the nib becomes smudged, or soak it up with tissue to remove the ink.
Remove the attached nib. It will come off easily with your finger, but the ink remaining on the nib may stain your hands.
If you get ink on your hands, wash your hands with soap.
Remove the replacement nib and insert the blunt end first into the nib.
Then knock the nib several times on old paper to release the ink into the nib.

■Caution
When replacing the medium nib, spit out all the ink remaining in the nib, then wash the nib with water, dry it, and place it in the storage bag.
If you dry the nib with ink remaining in it, the ink will not come out the next time you use it.
When storing the replacement nib, perform the same care before putting it away.
