“KOGIN” is born in Tsugaru area, Aomori prefecture, in EDO era. This technique is used for reinforce with cloth and retaining warmth. “KOGIN” stitch is on counting number of fabric mesh along textile. Long needle is necessary to stitch many fabric meshes at once. And also, “KOGIN” needle is thicker than “SASHIKO” one because of the difference yarn's thickness.
