SASAWASHI is a washi yarn made of Sasa veitchii, a type of bamboo plant grown 1000m or more above sea level only.
Since it is made of washi, it looks very good on the skin with its gentle luster.
It is perfectly suited for hats with its natural anti-bacterial, anti-UV and odour-resistant properties.
When it comes into contact with water, it will soften up a little, but will return to normal when dry again.
Because the yarn was treated with water-repellent during the coloring stage, it is strong against both water and dirt.
※The water-repelling effect will slowly fade with time.
