Sun-Dried Linen (“Tempiboshi” Linen)
One fabric we especially want you to notice in this collection is the “sun-dried” fabric, called “Tempiboshi” in Japanese, made in Enshu (the western area of Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan).
After being carefully dyed by skilled craftspeople, the fabric is slowly dried in the sun and wind. This process creates a soft, fluffy texture with natural wrinkles. This relaxed look is the special charm you can’t find in mass-produced fabrics.

Tempiboshi Linen No.40 (Item no. TL4400)
The easy-to-use classic is “Tempiboshi Linen No.40,” with a nicely balanced thickness.
It can be used all year round, making it perfect for clothes and small handmade items.
Tempiboshi Linen for Stoles (Item no. TL60ST)
This lightweight linen fabric for stoles has a smooth texture that works perfectly for spring and summer.
It can be used for sun protection or against air conditioning, and one of the joys is how the texture becomes even better the more you use it.
Another special feature is its rarity — only 20 cm can be woven in a single day.
Tempiboshi Linen Waffle (Item no. TL4030)
The textured waffle fabric has a cute look and a soft feel. It is also highly absorbent, making it great for towels, kitchen cloths, and home décor items.
Ecru Linen Series
Next, we’d like to introduce the “Ecru Linen Series,” which comes in different thicknesses for different uses.
The firm “heavyweight type” is great for bags and small accessories, while the lighter “standard type” is easy to use for Sashiko, sewing, and more, expanding the fun of making things.
Another great point is the ecru color, which matches easily with many kinds of fabrics and decorations!
